Beauty & Essex may fool you at first; you walk in to an unassuming building passed a little jewelry shop, and POOF, you are in the foyer of Beauty and Essex surrounded by beautiful people, a beautiful spiral staircase, and a fancy chandelier. You have now entered the world of Beauty & Essex! The food and cocktails are great; in addition, the atmosphere is a nice modern decor with a great presence. Get the small plates so you can try everything! Recommended here are the tuna poke tacos, Thai style shrimp, and lobster mac. Braised short ribs are a great full size entree. Cocktails are out of this world as well. Also noteworthy is the Sunday brunch which is great as well. Go try Beauty & Essex! It is definitely a cool spot.
